- Press release on the Meeting of North-German dermatologists in Hamburg (September 9th -September 11th, 2005):
The biggest regional meeting of German dermatologists, the Meeting of the North-German Dermatologic Society, took place Friday, September 9th 2005 through Sunday, September 11th 2005, in Hamburg. The meeting was organized by Prof. Dr. Ingrid Moll, head of the department of Dermatology and Venerology of the University Hospital Hamburg-Eppendorf and her co-workers. Among others, the following topics were addressed:
Current aspects in laser therapy of the skin (Quality assurance of cosmetic therapy; Varicose veins – a common disease - more than a cosmetic problem; New aspects in laser therapy and dermatological surgery, etc.). In recent years dermatologic therapy has vastly expanded its therapeutic options through the development and application of new treatment methods. This is especially true for dermatologic surgery as well as laser therapy of the skin.
